對這部電影的故事內容完全一無所知,但光看到這海報就覺得很想看;正好細佬買了這部片子的DVD,於是樂得在家中跟家人一起看.
故事發生在愛爾蘭都柏林,男主角是位街頭藝人,女主角是位捷克移民,靠著賣花,賣Big Issue和做散工來維持生計;音樂讓他們在街頭相遇,發展出一連串的故事.
雖然這只是一個平淡的故事,但卻淡得很有味道.
男主角Guy(Glen Hansard飾)和女主角Girl(Markéta Irglová飾)因為音樂而彼此相知相交,忘記現實生活裡惱人的一切,用音樂去交流彼此的愛意,藉以忘卻大家那些’曾經’的包袱;Guy只用一把結他,就能緊緊地抓住Girl的心靈,那火花卻要埋藏心底…也許就是這種淡淡的餘韻,才令一切更值得回味?
更也許,這就是人生,這就是愛情的面貌?
他倆的歌聲貫穿整部電影,看畢片子後,就好像看完一個很長的音樂錄像,那些歌曲動人得令我立刻收藏了Once的電影原聲大碟;順帶一提,由Glen Hansard編寫的主題曲Falling Slowly更獲選為奧斯卡最佳原創電影歌曲呢.
戲剛開始的時候,我也約略估計到這是一部以極少的成本製作的電影,因為整套戲的畫面都以灰暗的調子為主,對我而言,這散發著濃濃的英倫感覺,也很理所當然;但想不到,當我在互聯網上左看右看才得知,原來那灰濛濛的調子是因為導演要節省成本,只用天然光而捨專業的打燈而做成!
另,片中的一對主角,也因為這部拍攝電影而戀上了呢.
